Connecting Education Leaders through Transformative Support

The Cohort Experience guides a curated community of motivated education leaders through novel approaches to effective leadership, problem solving, and professional growth.

During the 3-month Cohort Experience, LeveragED brings leaders across the education sector together, engaging them through facilitated problem-of-practice experiences in a thoughtfully curated community. This unique environment supports participants as they explore their approach to leadership and move beyond problem-solving toward empowering professional growth.

Diverse by Design

Cohorts are intentionally crafted with leaders from an array of positions and backgrounds within education, leveraging their leadership styles and diverse perspectives for problem solving and community building.

Tailored Guidance

Each member is paired with a Guide who supports their journey through personalized sessions to understand their goals and connect them to people, experiences, and resources that strengthen their growth.

Problem of Practice

Through facilitated conversation, members engage their cohort community to help them develop their decision-making framework and reflect upon their growth areas in order to drive positive, lasting change.

FAQs

Who is eligible to apply for the Cohort Experience?

Applicants who are selected for the Cohort Experience are service-oriented leaders in education who share the LeveragED vision of a future where all school communities have access to the best educational experiences and outcomes. In order to be eligible for the Cohort Experience, applicants must

  • Hold a formal leadership position in one of the following sectors:

    • School or school district (traditional or alternative public, public charter, independent, or parochial)

    • Education Organization (nonprofit or mission-aligned business)

    • Governance or Policy (school board, city, county, state, or national policy organization)

    • Higher Education 

    • Philanthropy

    • Professional Consulting Services (with experience in one of the leadership roles above)

  • Be dedicated to continuous learning and improvement

  • Be enthusiastic about fostering connections with a diverse group of leaders from various positions and organizations in education
